In the ten-year life of the lab, we’ve worked on approximately fourty research projects. These projects offer a view of our work that’s separate from but complementary to our essays.
They range in size and focus, from Sketchpad’s faithful reimagining of a classic and Inkling’s gestural constraints for dynamic drawing, to Patchwork’s broad vision for a malleable, version-controlled substrate for collaborative documents and in-the-moment toolmaking. Muse and Automerge each began as a series of smaller projects before coming into their own as production software.
We’ve begun building dedicated pages for each project, capturing an overview of the work, related links, talks, source code, and other artifacts:
Follow along to learn when new project pages go live.
